The Office of the DeKalb County District Attorney is currently accepting resumes for a Communications Specialist to support its Office of Communications. This is a temporary, part-time, contract position. Duties include, but are not limited to, fielding public and media inquiries; assisting with the management and execution of visual and written content for the Office’s communication platforms, including its website and social media channels; producing content for press releases/events, newsletters/publications, and miscellaneous collateral material; and providing logistical support for Office-related events.
The successful candidate must possess strong writing skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Preference will be given to candidates with degrees and experience in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, and/or a related field.
Employment is contingent upon the completion and satisfactory results of a criminal background check. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
